1017.27 — THE ELVIS TOWER
Signals from upstairs.

The Tower with a Router

It ain’t tall by city standards… but out here, it reaches just fine.

The Elvis Tower sits a little off to the side—quiet, steady,
hummin’ with whatever happens to pass through it.

Some folks come up here to record. Some to listen. Some just
to get a little distance from the ground and see what follows
them up.

There are wires… microphones… a few blinking lights that make
it feel official enough to trust.

But most of what moves through here doesn’t come from equipment.

It comes from memory. From stories that ain’t settled yet.
From songs still lookin’ for the right room to land in.

Late at night, when the rest of the place settles down,
the Tower stays just awake enough to catch what’s still driftin’.

You don’t always hear it clear.

But if you sit still long enough… something usually comes through.

That’s what WBRD runs on.
